Sometimes I come upon things that make me just fall in love, like this house in Charleston! I actually once told my husband I want to live in Charleston so I could have a cool house. Too bad I like the seasons too much and love my New England but I can still dream about what my brownstone will look like one day.

Family Calendar

I was just talking to my girlfriend the other day about how I have about 5 calendars everywhere and when I got a call that I missed my son's dentist appointment I decided I needed to get better organized. I turned to my favorite site for ideas Houzz and came upon the dry erase calendar. She found it on etsy. You buy a picture frame the size of the decal and attach it to the glass on the picture frame for a dry erase family calendar. I love this idea and I love that you can personalize it to match your home. Also a great house warming gift too!

New Year, New Resolution....

I think about this blog often and how I want to make it look like all the other blogs I read everyday so I made it my resolution this year to make it better or maybe I should say actually start it. Let's hope I stick to it!

Budget friendly easter decor ideas..

After visiting the Williams and Sonoma outlet store today I was inspired to update my Easter decor but don't want to spend a lot of money. Below is a picture from their site with initial pillar candles which could easily be stenciled on pillar candles from the dollar store and placed in hurricanes or pillar candle holders. Use white candles with colored initials or colored candles with white initials. Get really creative and line your mantel with a row of candles that says Happy Easter

social networking finds

I have to say I love social networking because of the postings by creative people that I never knew before like this Jace Interiors & CreateGirl. My wheels are already spinning and if I didn't have 2-2 yr olds running around I would be on my way to buy a plain white canvas and create my own.

One day....

I love Kenneth Brown's work and one day, yes one day when I don't have jello smeared on the walls or double sided tape stuck to my dining room table I plan to have a room just like this...

Say CHEESE.....

Yesterday a close girlfriend, Miracle stopped by to take pictures of the boys and of me. I've been wanting a picture of myself for my blog that wasn't of me cutting off part of my husbands head to just get my head. Unfortunately my almost 5 yr old was up in the middle of night with the itches (dry skin) and when he wasn't awake my 2 yr old was. I don't know why I always manage to have the worst nights sleep before pictures. Hopefully you can't tell! I also hope you can't tell that we had a crank-pot on our hands too. He woke up a little early from his nap.
